SUBJECT: Seismic Exploration Results
The methods we used to get the information was with a seismometer. We exploded something then we recorded the speed of the sound when it reached each interval. We then converted the speed of the sound into density using a graph that we had that recorded how fast sound traveled in different densities. For drilling at the depth 500m, drill at A5,B5,C5. You will be drilling through densities of rock between 1800 and 2100kg/m^3. At 1000m drill at A5. You will be drilling through rock at a density of 1800kg/m^3. At the depth of 1500m drill at C3,C4,C5,D2,D3 and the rock you will be drilling through will have a density of 1050.
